In the heart of the Dallas Arts District stands the Trammell Crow Tower. As part of the master plan, the surrounding grounds are a sculpture garden, populated with bronzes by Rodan, Moore and others. At the center is a pavilion space created especially for traveling art exhibitions. For the grand opening event, on the Fourth of July, historical U.S. artifacts from the Smithsonian Institution, all of which had never been seen outside its walls, were exhibited in this extraordinary new space. As we were not able to photograph the artifacts, due to strict environmental concerns, our solution was to create a graphic approach by taking details of our nation's flag to spell the word "America."
