The DSVC professional show is themed each year and the subsequent marketing materials expand on that idea. We were asked to chair and produce the show, which we were happy to do if we could take the seriousness quotient down a notch. This year's concept poked a little fun at the judging process and how it's a thrill to win, but not the end of the world if you don't. We took a look at some of the fickle fads and trends of the day and, to some degree, their arbitrary nature, then tried to put it all in perspective.
