Brinker International was looking for an update and graphic standards for the Chili's brand, as well as a way to differentiate itself from the proliferation of peppers on the landscape. Our Pepper "S" was the shorthand solution to embracing the equity of both the logotype and the redesigned pepper. We created a standards system that was extended into signage and architectural sculpture. With this in mind from the outset, we created a 3-D pepper which was so appealing as a piece of art we created a poster series documenting the architectural stages and ultimate 2D stylization of the new identity.
